Other animals living with us!

And here are some animals who has passed here over the years..

leija.jpg (68427 byte) Leija

Leija is an ordinary brown classic tabby with white house cat lady. She's born 2000, and a friend of mine took her to her appartment - but it didn't work very well... So she moved to us in 2001, and is our very best hunting cat! She has also taken very good care of my daughter Holly, consoling her when she's sad. She's very special, can be affectionate, but suddenly it can be too much for her, so you have to quit cuddeling with her at her small signs or else she strikes! All our cats has great respect for her, and I have even seen her hunting a fox out of our garden!

Tiger

Tiger is a miracle! His mother is Kitty, one of my queens. I tried desperately to get her pregnant to get a little girl to keep, but she didn't get pregnant although I introduced her to THREE nice males! So I gave up and let her out, she had always been longing to be outside hunting. The first summer I waited that she would come home pregnant, but she didnt, and not the summer after either. So I just guessed that she was too old, and had been eating the pills for too long. But then, in november 2004 I woke up and heard THAT noice - it can't be mistaken... She had given birth to a little (or rather quite big...) black silver mackarel tabby boy! I hadn't even noticed she was pregnant, and now she had taken care of everything her self! So of course Tiger stayed here with us! We have seen what we think is his father, a smaller copy of Tiger that is a stray cat.
Now Tiger is huge with lots of charisma. Purrs like an engine, and pliable as a safe... He manages to tear down almost everything that comes in his way, but is always forgiven when he comes purring! He debuted at his first catshow in 2006, where he was nominated as best shorthair male, and we'll se if he'll give the shows another try!

Dogs

Born 13/12-06

Mother: Alsation/labrador retriever

Father: Curley Coated Retriever

Pepsi

In february 2007 we found him... So qute! A little black, wavy puppy...  For the first couple of weeks I thought we would never get him house-trained, he "froze like a dog" out in the snow... When I was in the stable, I wraped him in a blanket, and i just lay there on the floor - not very normal for a 12 weeks puppy?!

But he has grown up, now he's around 70 cm high and weighs about 35 kilos. He is still very playful with lots of run in his feet!

Perla från Vindäng

Perla is an icelandic horse, the most lovely one on earth! =) So very sweet, easy to handle and happy to work, totally wonderful!

My friend Sara is riding bare back on her for the first time.

A lousy pic from the phone, where Johan is testing the challange of riding!

Sara and Perla are practising the trot in the snow, hard work!

Perla moved to a friend of mine summer of 2008, where she's trained, and then we'll se what happens to her.

Below some pics from a competition in 2007, Sara Vidman is the rider.
