 VINDUR |
Vindur was an icelandic horse who lived here
2001-2003. His owner lived in Tåme, and I knew here from Solkatten. He was
very beautiful, just exactly that kind of colour a "real" icelandic horse
should have in my eyes! He was handsome to take care of, but a bit stubborn
when ridning. He was sold to someone else living outside Byske when Hasse
and I separated, but after that I just kept dreaming of another icelandic
horse... |
 MY CANON |
Canon lived here 2001-2003, owned by my neighbour Sara Vidman. He is a
pensioneered Swedish warmblood trotting horse, as Sara
trained for
riding instead. Very kind-hearted horse, who loved to
learn tricks too! Sara sold him to some people in Robertsfors that I know
from the cat-breeding, S*LenLass
norweigan forest cats, and now I just found out that he has moved again, to
Carola in Vallen, that I also know, but from 4H! It sure is a small world we
live in! =) |
 BURE |
Another Swedish varmblood trotting horse was Bure, that Hasse took care of
the winter -02/-03. He normaly lived at Go West, a westernfarm in Drängsmark
where you could go for rides on western trained horses. Here a picof Sara, Smokey, Hasse, Bure and Canon, when they were riding Bure back to Drängsmark. |
SMOKEY |
Smokey was a young arab gelding, that Sara bought in Örebro -02. Sara
couldn't take him with her when she went to school in Kalix, so he moved to
a family in Umeå for 3 years. When she left school, she had bought another
horse, so Smokey was sold to someone in Kalix. |
 SUPPAN |
Suppan is the horse Sara bought from the school in Kalix, a crossbred new
forest/half blood. She can look a bit mean in the stable, but even I learned
that it was just as she looked like.. A nice horse for dressage - but she
was born 1988, så she has had years om practicing! She has been here a
little now and then when Sara still was at school, and after she left school. |
 EBBA |
Ebba was our other
micehunting cat. She came to us in September 2001 at about six months of
age, when the previous owner got allergic to her. She is very cozy and
friendly to everybody, and her speciality is climbing up and down the
ladder to the roof of the house! I do not think she finds any mice up
there, but we have a birds nest there... She has a beautiful colour, a
classic torbie with very nice, warm red colour. Even Hasse, who really
thinks we have too many cats, has come to love Ebba, mostly because she
reminds him a lot of his former Somali, Cherie. And
when we separated Hasse took Ebba with him to Strömfors! |
 BRAGE |
Brage lives at Lilla Lyckans (Little Happiness) 4H/Young Farmer Yard in
Skellefteå. He's a shetland pony, and work with children riding and pulling
a wagon every now and then. He comes to us 3 weeks every late summer/autumn
on vacation, and sometimes for christmas holidays too. |
 SAMBA |
Samba-Liten lives with Brage at Lilla Lyckan, and they come here together.
She's a nice mare, with a nice pedigree, and she has been B-rewarded at
shows. |
 MERILLO |
Merillo lived here 2006, he's a Gotland Pony. Carola and Sofia owned him by
then, but they sold him back to a family that in his earlier years had
competed with him in pony trotting. |
 RAUK |
Carolas icelandic mare Rauk lived her in 2006, and after that she brought her home to her in Sandfors, and later Ersmark. |
 REIFUR |
Rauks foal Reifur was born here in june 2006. He was here until 2007 when he moved to her home in Sandfors. I guess he's looking for a new home if anyone is interested! |
 BIRKIR |
Leiras foal was born here in july 2006. He was here until 2007, when he
moved with Reifur to Sandfors. After that, in january 2008, he was sold to
Marlene in Burvik. Here is another pic from summer of 2008, and here one from when he was a little foal. |

Aila was not ours, she
just lived here from autum 2007 and about a year! =) She comes from a dog
shelter in Spain, and I think this born around 2000 so she's quite old and
lazy. Prefer to lay in the couch, but unfortunately for her she has to spend
quite a lot of her time telling Pepsi do's and don'ts... |

Leira från Gallerud
lives here for the moment. She got a little black stallion foal at 02 the night before 25th of May -08. And this time I managed to BE THERE, all the time during her delivery! =)His name is Heidur från Holmfors, and he's a really nico guy! To the right there are some pics from when he was born, but it isn't too easy to get good pics in the middle of the night though... There were a big crowd watching the show, me and Johan, Perla and the sheep herd were all wondering what was going on!
It is always very fasinating to se how quick
they are to get up on their feet, so newly born, wet and unsteady! It didn't
take more then an hour from when he was born til he had found her milk, and
a few hours later he was running alongside his mother! It's quite some
differens compared with the kittens! =) |
